1. No Direct Collection of Personal Financial Data

Mduyen Ledger does not collect, store, or sell your personal financial records on developer-operated servers.

Your ledger data, transactions, categories, accounts, notes, and related records are stored locally on your device, or, if you choose to enable sync features, within your own Apple iCloud account through Apple CloudKit services.

2. How Data Is Stored

Depending on how you use the app:

• If you use the app locally, your data remains on your device.
• If you enable iCloud sync or shared ledgers, your data is stored in your personal iCloud / CloudKit environment provided by Apple.

3. No Developer Access to Your Private Ledger Content

We do not maintain our own backend database for your ledger content, and we do not use our own servers to store your private transaction history. As a result, we do not directly access, review, or monetize the contents of your personal ledger data.

4. iCloud and Apple Services

When iCloud features are enabled, data transmission and storage are handled through Apple services, including CloudKit.

Your use of iCloud is also subject to Apple’s own terms, privacy policies, and security practices. Please refer to Apple’s Privacy Policy for additional details about how Apple handles data stored in iCloud.

5. Data Sharing

We do not sell your personal data, and we do not share your private ledger content with third parties for advertising or marketing purposes. If you use shared ledger features, data is shared only with the participants you explicitly invite through Apple’s sharing mechanisms.

6. Data Security

We design the app to minimize data collection and avoid unnecessary server-side storage. However, no method of electronic storage or transmission can be guaranteed to be 100% secure. Users are responsible for securing access to their own devices and Apple accounts.

7. Your Control Over Data

• You can delete app data from your device at any time.
• You can manage or remove iCloud-stored data through your Apple account and device settings.
• You can choose whether or not to enable iCloud sync and shared ledgers.

8. Children’s Privacy

Mduyen Ledger is not intended to knowingly collect personal information from children. Since we do not directly collect personal ledger content on developer-operated servers, our data practices are intentionally limited.
